James McKenzie Lillico of Starke, Florida, passed away on October 20, 2024 in Starke. A Funeral service will be held at Holy Faith, Catholic Church in Gainesville, Florida, on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 11 o'clock, with Father Edward Murphy of Holy Faith officiating. Graveside interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 1:30 PM. James was born In Peterborough, Ontario to Donald and Marie Lillico on October 11, 1952. He went to high school at Dixie Hollins High School in Dixie Hollins, Florida and graduated in 1970. He went on to earn a degree in communications from St. Pete Junior College. He worked as a clerk for Morton Plant Hospital and enjoyed telling jokes and listening to music. He is preceded in death by his wife, Judith and is survived by his son, Christopher of Newberry, Florida as well as his sisters Linda of New Mexico and Donna from Vancouver, Canada.
