James Rayford Mullis Jr

Funeral services for James Rayford Mullis Jr., 74, who passed away on October 7, 2015, will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM from the graveside in Ferreira Memorial Cemetery with Bro. Steve Leggett officiating. Mr. Mullis was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, Florida. He was an Insulator in the construction trade and was a member of the Heat and Frost Local No. 13. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 29 years, the late Valerie G. Mullis; Survivors include his sisters, Vernelle Sapp, Shirley Mazza (James), Barbara Frost (Noel); Brother, Steve Mullis; Sisters, Jackie Emery, Elaine Harden (Lee), and Helen Clarke (Michael); 23 nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
