Mr. James "Scott Hall, Sr. Age 58 of Keystone Heights passed away Wednesday night, May 28, 2025, from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident. He was born July 16, 1966, in Jacksonville to Richard and Arnola (Boynton) Hall, Sr. Scott enlisted in the United States Army from March 1987 through 1994. Then joined the Florida National Guard in 1997 and became active (AGR) in 2003. Scott was a three-time combat war veteran with the last serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003-2004 where he became a Purple Heart recipient. Throughout Scotts service he was an honorable and dedicated soldier, receiving numerous accommodations and medals. He was honored to serve his country. Shortly after retiring from the service in March 2016, he found a few jobs that would keep him busy and help integrate him back into civilian life. His final place was Walmart in Starke, where he met some great people that he could share his pranks and sense of humor with. Scott was known as a big prankster. He was an avid Paintball player, enjoyed fishing, woodworking and loved wildlife. He believed in paying it forward. Most importantly Scott was a dedicated and loving husband, father and loyal friend. Scotts father Richard had preceded him in death. His survivors are his loving and dedicated wife of 37 years Pamela (Wells) Hall and their children Scott Hall Jr and Ellie Goforth-Hall (Kortney) and his mother Arnola (Boynton) Hall all of Keystone Heights. Also left behind is his brother Rick Hall (Shellie) of Jacksonville and a precious grandpup Zeus. Visitation for Scott will be held Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral home Chapel. A Military graveside service will follow at 1:30 P.M. at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
