Funeral services for James E. Wiggins, 72, who passed away on July 20, 2014, will be held Saturday at 11 AM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206, with Rev. Chris Coram officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Wiggins was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was a lifelong resident. He was a member of the North Jacksonville Baptist Church and was active in the Cross Ministry. He was a residential and commercial roofer for 40 years and enjoyed playing guitar. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ozzie and Annette Wiggins; sister, Eva Wiggins and brothers, Kenneth and Earl Wiggins. Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Deborah Smith Wiggins; sister, Glenda I.
