Jan Marie Strickland

Ms. Jan Marie (Morris) Strickland age 37, of Lawtey passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at Haven Hospice E.T. York Care Center in Gainesville. Jan was born on November 11, 1977 in Crawfordsville, Indiana. She was a respiratory therapist and worked for Orange Park Sleep Center until her illness forced her retirement. Ms. Strickland attended Grace United Methodist Church in Lawtey, loved the beach, enjoyed spending time with her family and her many friends. Survivors are: her son: Braden Strickland, her parents: John and Lorraine (Priest) Morris of Lawtey, sister: Debbie Morris Walin (Mike) of Raiford, nephew: Matthew Walin of Raiford, Uncle: Lamar Priest (Shellee) of Lawtey, Aunt: Cindi Svovoda of Raleigh, NC. The family will receive friends at GRACE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH in Lawtey, on Friday, June 19, 2015 from 6-7 PM with a MEMORIAL service beginning at 7:00 PM. Reverend Geary Rowell will officiate.
