Funeral services for Jane D. Bernhard, 84, who passed away on January 9, 2016, will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM from the graveside in Evergreen Cemetery (Gate #5) with Dr. Terry Gore officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-7 PM at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. Mrs. Bernhard was a native of Jacksonville, Florida and was a lifelong resident. She was Episcopalian by faith and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, the late Robert O. Bernhard. Survivors include his daughter, Donna J. Raszkin (Steve); 2 sons, Robert O. Bernhard Jr., and Ramon Bernhard (Tammy); 1 brother, LeBaron H. Dennis Jr.; 6 grandchildren, Shea and Dylan White, Justin, Shelby, Jenna, and Shane Bernhard; 2 great-grandchildren, MacKenzie and Aiden White.
