Jane Shirley Gut, 91, widow of Robert Martin Gut, died Wednesday, June 22, 2022 in Jacksonville, Florida. Mrs. Gut was born December 4, 1930, in Sanford, Florida, to Ethel May and Ralph Brower Chapman. A retired substitute teacher from the Duval County School System, she was a member of San Jose Episcopal Church and a graduate of Stetson University where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. Mrs. Gut was predeceased by a son, Robert Chapman Gut. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Gut Watson of Jacksonville and Vicki Gut (Terry) Padgett of St. Augustine, Florida; six grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren..
