In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, John Riggs, this past June, and her siblings Anna Satterfield, Kathleen Pachuta, Alice Dye, Rose Sleeth, and William Christie.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, John Riggs (Kimberly) of Worthington Springs, Christie Williams of Starke, and Penny Lamb (Steve) of Gainesville; and a host of grandchildren that lovingly called her "Mom-Mom," including Joy Scott (Mark), Jay Williams (Jennifer), Joshua Williams (Crystal), John M. Riggs IV, Alexander Riggs, twins Benjamin Riggs and Michael Riggs (Bri), Rebecca Mings (Collin), and Kyle Lamb, along with eleven great-grandchildren, and one more on the way. Also left behind are many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss her dearly.
