Janet Grace Bevak

Janet Grace (Jan) Bevak

October 13, 1935

Jan was born in Detroit, Michigan the eldest of five children to Morris and Janet Quinn. She

received a Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State University in 1958 and had a 40 year

career in nursing.

Jan was married to Frank Bevak and they had three children- Brian Scott, David Bruce and

Karen Leigh Bevak. After 20 years of marriage they divorced and Jan and daughter moved to

Gainesville, Fl. in 1981. Jan was employed at Shands Hospital and retired from there in 1997.

In 2019 Jan moved to Alpharetta, GA to live with Karen and Eric Harris, her daughter and

son-in-law.

Jan was preceeded in death by her son David and her sisters Judith Joseph and Susan Urbin

and her brother Donald Quinn.

She is survived by her son Brian, her daughter Karen and Eric Harris, brother John Patrick

Quinn, granddaughter Timbre Leigh Bevak, great grandsons Ash and Oliver Howard and six

nephews and one niece
