Janet May Rubert, 79, of Gainesville, passed away April 5, 2012 at North Florida Regional Medical Center. anet was born in Nelliston, NY and moved to Gainesville in 1999. She was currently working at Publix at Hunters Crossing and loved going to St. Augustine Beach.Janet is preceded in death by a grandson Brandon Fuentes. She is survived by her husband of 56 years George Rubert, children John C. Rubert of NY, William G. Rubert of Pensacola, Jodi L. Rubert and, Donald E. Rubert of both of Gainesville and David S. Rubert of St. Augustine, 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.A visitation will be held at Forest Meadows Funeral Home, 725 NW 23rd Ave. on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM AT Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 10900 SW 24th Ave., Gainesville, FL with Father Kazimierz Ligeza officiating.
