Janice Meredith Williamson

Funeral services for Mrs. Janice Meredith Williamson, 90, widow of Gordon Edward Williamson, will be held at 2:30P.M. Monday, in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South, with Rev. Billy W. Jones of Englewood Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Born January 21, 1925 in Berrien County, Georgia, Mrs. Williamson died Friday, August 14, 2015, in Jacksonville. She was a retired Group Administrator from Gulf Life Insurance Company. Mrs. Williamson was a member of Hogan Baptist Church and the Order of Eastern Star, was a Gator Booster, and loved to fish and bowl. Survivors include a daughter, Janice W. O'Neill of Trenton, FL; two sons, Allen G. (Marty) Williamson, Sr. and Dewey E. Williamson, and a sister, Glenda Morgan all of Jacksonville; a brother, Cyril A. Williams of Ocala, FL; six grandchildren, Ed (Patsy) Williamson, Kelly (Shannon) Varnes; Darby Allen, Ted (Michele) Williamson, Allen (Amy) Williamson, Jr. and Joshua Williamson and 12 great-grandchildren.
