Jason Bennett, 57, of Starke, FL passed away peacefully on October 29th, 2024. He was born in Starke to David Bennett and Betty Moody Bennett along with his older brother John. Jason happily shared his life with his wife, Minta, for 32 years. He graduated from Bradford County High School and earned a bachelors degree in criminology. Jason began his career as a Deputy at the Bradford County Sheriffs Office then proudly served at the Clay County Sheriffs Office for 30 years, where he retired honorably as a Chief. He had been retired for 5 years and lived his life to the absolute fullest. He spent every day helping family and friends. He made the most of his retirement years and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He is survived by his Mother, Father, Brother, Wife, Son, and Daughter. He was preceded in death by his Granny, Joyce Bennett, whom he adored and is now spending an eternity with. The funeral will be held at 11 AM at the Sampson City Church of God on November 5th, 2024.
