Funeral services for Jason Wayne Helton, age 35 of Green Cove Springs, will be held at 1:00P.M. on Saturday, December 10, 2016 in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday December 9 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.A Jacksonville native, Jason was born here on February 4, 1981 to Keith E. Helton & Shayla Hargroves Helton. He passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday December 6, 2016. Jason enjoyed spending his time with family and friends and will be remembered for his outgoing personality and love of having fun.Jason was preceded in death by his father, Keith Edward Helton. Survivors include his mother & step-father, Shayla & Henry Allen; a son, Carter Christian Helton; two sisters, Amber Gibson & Shannon McLemore; two brothers, Keith Helton Jr. & C.J.
