Jean C. Cummings

Jean C. Cummings, 86, went home to be with her Lord on July 2, 2016. She was born May 7, 1930 in Nashville, TN. Jean is survived by her loving husband, Jack Cummings, her two sons Ken (Joyce) Cummings and Jeff (Janet) Cummings, her two daughters Karen Sanchez and Julie (Randy) Carter, her sister Peggy Omohundro, her brother James Cowan, eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Hobson Auditorium of First Baptist Church Downtown, at the corner of Church and Hogan Streets. Dr John Sullivan will be officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 between the hours of 6-8 PM at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard South, Jacksonville, FL 32216.
