Jean Harrington Smith, 94, of Gainesville, FL, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025 in Nolensville, TN

Graveside Burial Service will be held at Forest Meadows on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Rick Underwood officiating. Forest Meadows is handling the funeral arrangements.

Jean H. Smith was born in Jackman, Maine to Dr. William N. and Mary Harrington on November 14, 1930. She went to high school at Gainesville High and graduated in 1949. She was involved in the Nazarene Church, and she enjoyed painting.

Jean Smith is preceded in death by her husband, Russell E. Smith, Father, Dr. William N. Harrington, Mother Mary C. Harrington, Brothers, William Harrington, Roy Harrington and Wallace Harrington.

Jean Smith is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna S. and Richard T. Underwood of Nolensville, TN, Three grandchildren, Jason and Stephanie Underwood, Justin and Rebekah Underwood, and Nicole and Chris Schroeder, Six great grandchildren, Ashtyn Underwood, Avery Underwood, Addyson Underwood, Jude Underwood, Rose Underwood and Dansby Schroeder and one brother, Earl Harrington.
