Mrs. Jean Walker Stegall, 88, of Melrose, surrounded by her family, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, August 19, 2022. Jean was born in Lakeland, Florida and attended Auburn University. In Addition to the full-time job of raising three boys, she worked as a financial secretary. She was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church and served on the Altar Guild, where her flower arrangements were appreciated. She was a passionate seamstress and was known for the many alter hangings, priest vestments and quilts she had made; Halloween costumes were perennial favorites. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were always bringing her items to mend. She is survived by her children Paul N. Stegall, G. Griffin Stegall, and Keith M.
