Jeana Renee Blackwell

Ms. Jeana Renee Blackwell "Momma Jeana" as she was affectionately known by family and friends age 65, of Pass Christian, MS passed away Monday, September 12, 2016 in Starke, FL. Jeana was born in Gulfport, Mississippi on March 18, 1951, grew up and attended schools in Pass Christian, Mississippi. She was a loving Christian mother and grandmother who truly loved the Lord. Prior to retirement she worked as a nursing assistant at Memorial Hospital. Jeana enjoyed cooking while spending time with her family, growing things in her garden and listening to sounds at the beach. She was preceded in death by her father Paul Bergeron. Survivors are her daughters: Jean LaBelle Woods of Gulfport, MS and Carolyn Elizabeth Woods of Port Hueneme, CA, her mother: Carolyn (Fahrion) Benton of Starke, FL Siblings: Mark Bergeron and John Bergeron both of Starke, Peter Bergeron of Sacramento, CA, Lisa Halfrod of Pensacola, FL and Paula Griffith of Hendersonville, TN. Grandchildren: Robert Donovan Woods and Javier LaTrell Sardin were truly the loves of her life and brought her so much joy! A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 2 oclock in Gulfport Mississippi at St. John Baptist Church 12502 Dedeaux Rd. with Rev. Luther Fairley of St. John Baptist Church where he will give a Eulogy and prayer over her ashes. We ask that all who knew and loved "Momma Jeana" to come and share with us.
