Funeral services for Jeannette Lucille Collins, 80, who passed away on December 31, 2017, will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM in The Good Samaritan Church, 44 Jericho Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218 with Dr. David Thompson and Rev. Brandon Lane officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church. Interment will follow in Dunn Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Collins was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was a lifelong resident. She was a housewife and mother that loved her family very much. She was a member of The Good Samaritan Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late W. C. and Mildred Gray; Sisters, Frances Card Miller and Mary Phillips; and a grandson Eric Allen Collins. Survivors include her loving husband of 64 years, Gerald Harrell Collins Sr.; five sons, Gerald Harrell Collins Jr. (Annette), Stephan Clifford Collins (Melonye), Mark Anthony Collins (Angela),Ronald Allen Collins (Natasha), and Todd William Collins (Darlene); one brother, Jerry Colis Gray (Johnie) and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
