Jefferson Dillard Elledge

Mr. Jefferson Dillard Elledge AKA Handsome age 68 of Orange Park passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021. Mr. Elledge was born April 11, 1953 in Jacksonville, FL.Jeff was a very intelligent and gentle spoken man. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, air boating, working out, gazing the night sky through his telescopes, and loved his Alices sweet tea. Jeff had a weekly outing at a local gun range with his son, Jess and Uncle John. He is survived by his wife, Roxie Lewis Elledge. He always referred to his wife as Goody. Roxie is quick to tell anyone how lucky she is to have been married (even for a short time} to the kindest most gentle soul. They were married August, 29, 2020. Instead of celebrating their first anniversary there will be a Celebration of Life to honor Jeff with family and friends.Other beloved survivors are his and Roxies son, Jesse James West. Cousins Carolyn, George, Jamie, Eric and Ann Catherine Bokinsky of Virginia. Uncle and Aunt, John and Lynn Johnson and their children Nick and daughter Kylie, Adam (Brandi), and Alex Johnson and Uncle Walter Harlick Jr., and special friends, Marty and Kristy Martineau and Ralph and Alice Steele all of Jacksonville. He is also survived by and dearly missed by a host of extended family and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents Jack Hill Elledge and Mary Ruth Dillard Elledge and his brother, Steve Hill Elledge AKA Redwood. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Fleet Reserve #290, 390 Mayport Road, Atlantic Beach Florida 32233. The service will begin at 2:00 pm officiated by Mrs. Holly Bond and Mr. Mickey Norman. Wes Cobb will be providing music from 3 to 6 and food provided by Kenn Benn Stick to Ya Roots BBQ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Jeffs name to Fleet Reserve #290. The Fleet members are an extended family to Jeff and Roxie. They celebrated their wedding reception and many other special occasions at The Fleet.
