Mrs. Jennie Hayden Shackleford, age 98, of Woodbridge, VA passed away peacefully at her home Sunday, March 1, 2015. She was born on December 9, 1916 in Griffin, Georgia to the late John T. and Sarah L. Williams, moving to Gainesville, where she met her late husband, Donald W. Shackleford. Following her retirement from Clay Electric Cooperative, she and Don spent their retirement years in Waynesville, North Carolina and were members of Longs United Methodist Church in Canton, North Carolina. After her husbands death she moved to Woodbridge, Virginia. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Marguerette Shackleford of Atlanta, Georgia and her daughter and son-in-law, Kerry and Bob Ryskamp of Woodbridge, Virginia. Also left behind are her grandsons, Rob Shackleford and his wife Salee, Drew Shackleford, Ryan and Ross Ryskamp; two step great-grandchildren Ilan and Shade and several nephews. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015. Interment will be at Keystone Heights Cemetery.
