Jerry Lamar Hoffman, Sr.

Jerry Lamar Hoffman, Sr passed from his earthly life on August 26, 2026, surrounded by family. He was born in Panama City, Florida on November 15, 1939, to Jeremiah David Hoffman and Marjorie Jewette (Mattson) Hoffman.

He is survived by his present wife, Linda Sheets Hoffman, his son, Jerry Lamar Hoffman, Jr (Mora), his daughter, Cheri’ Lynn Smith (Eric), six grandchildren, Daran Damm, Jacqueline Houser, Jeremiah Hoffman, Stephen Hoffman, Sarah Hoffman and Joy Hoffman, and 8 Great grandchildren, Danica Damm, Dakota Damm, Declan Damm, Axle Hoffman, Cecelia Houser, Lyla Houser, Mae Houser, and Zoey Houser.

Jerry graduated from Auburn University and was a mechanical engineer. He worked at various nuclear plants and NASA.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Cecelia and his granddaughter, Kathryn Hoffman.
