Funeral services for Jerry John Nelson Sr., 68, who passed away on April 8, 2015, will be held Saturday April 11, 2015 at 11:00AM at the graveside in Evergreen Cemetery Gate 5, 4535 Main St, Jacksonville, FL 32206 with Pastor Perry Fruscella officiating. The family will receive friends Friday April 10, 2015 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Nelson was retired from Iron Workers Local Union #597. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Linda Nelson; son Jerry Nelson Jr.; brother Jon Nelson and several other family members. Jerry had many friends and enjoyed fishing and helping people in need.
