Mr. Jerry Lee Sturdevant age 71 of Keystone Heights passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023, at St. Vincents Hospital in Middleburg. He was born November 28, 1951, in Miami to the late Bert and Helen (Joiner) Sturdevant. Jerry was a retired computer technician and Volkswagen mechanic. He was raised Baptist and enjoyed working on corvettes and motorcycles along with watching western shows on television. Mr. Sturdevant is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years Cheryl (Belt) Sturdevant of Keystone Heights and their two daughters Jade Bailey (Mervin) of Keystone Heights and Tiffany Sturdevant (Eric) of St. Augustine. Also left behind are his siblings Darrell "Richie" Sturdevant of Virginia and Judy Andrews of Bryceville along with his mother in-law Sadie Belt of Keystone Heights. He was lovingly called "Poppy" by seven grandchildren. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Gadara Baptist Church with the memorial to state at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Shawn House will be officiating and interment will be at a later date at Gadara Cemetery.
