In Loving Memory of Jesus Francisco Braun

April 17, 1931 – March 3, 2026

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jesus Francsico Braun, who left this world on March 3, 2026, at the age of 94. Born on April 17, 1931, in Lima, Peru, Jesus dedicated his life to the automotive industry as a skilled auto body repairman. Throughout his long and fulfilling life, he exemplified commitment, hard work, and a devotion to his craft.

Residing in Gainesville, Florida, for many years, Jesus was a loving husband and father to his nine children. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria Enma Braun. He is survived by his devoted daughters, Juana Gifford (Charles), Carmen Braun, Jacqui Braun, Maria Braun, Mila Zitting (Brent), and Julia Braun, as well as his beloved sons, Raul Braun (Sani-Dee), Miguel Braun (Ana), and Alex Braun (Michelle). His legacy will continue to shine through the hearts and lives of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Jesus's life will be held as the family gathers to pay their respects. The graveside funeral services will take place on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at the Forest Meadows Cemetery, 4200 NW 39th Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32606. Following the service, Jesus will be laid to rest, where he will find peace in a final resting place surrounded by the love of those who cherished him.

We hope that all who knew Jesus will remember his unwavering love for his family and wonderful humor. He will be dearly missed but not forgotten.
