Funeral services for Joan P. Burnett, who passed away on January 1, 2021. She was lovingly known as "Mimi Joan" will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. in Franklin Street Baptist Church, 2521 Franklin Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206, with Dr. Terry Gore officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.Mimi Joan was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Andrew Jackson class of 1956 and had attended Franklin Street Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years. 1 daughter, Helen Marie Burnett; 3 sons, Richard James Burnett III (Debbie), Carl Thomas Burnett (Kris), and Timothy Lane Burnett (Marsha); 6 grandchildren, R. J. Burnett IV, Zachary Burnett (Sarah), Megan Fontana (Wes), Matthew Burnett, Conner Sebert (Kendra), and Noah Sebert; 3 great-grandchildren, Peyton, Olivia and Lily.In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made in her memory to: Parkinson's Foundation at Parkinson.org.Arrangements under the direction of George H.
