Mrs. Joan "Jennell" Dyal age 83, of Starke passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Haven Hospice E.T. York Care Center in Gainesville. She was born on September 1, 1938 in Bradford County and was a lifelong area resident. Jennell was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and very active until her declining health. Prior to retirement she was a hairdresser and spent many years taking care of her mother. Preceding her in death was her husband, Jerry A. Dyal, Sr., her parents, George "Bud" Raiford Alvarez and Hazel (Reddish) Alvarez Land, and her son, Jerry "Buddy" Dyal, Jr. Survivors are, her daughter, Joan Leslie Dyal (Leander) of Starke and her grandson, George Raiford Dyal (Ashkea) of Lake Butler. Also left are her great grandsons, Raylan and Sawyer. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Bayless Highway Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Conner officiating.
