Joan O. Koivisto, 76, of Jacksonville, FL went home to be with her lord on her birthday, November 14, 2014. She graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in 1957 and pharmacy school from Florida A & M. Along with her husband Jim, they have owned Halliday's and Koivisto's Pharmacy since 1973. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Jim Koivisto. Joan was a member of Southside Chapter 28 of the Order of the Eastern Star, Past Matron and Mother Adviser of Jacksonville 21 Assembly Rainbow for Girls. Her funeral will be held at 3:30pm on Tuesday November 18, 2014 at the Southside Chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S.
