MARTIN: Funeral services for Joan Belcher Martin, 90, who passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023, will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM from the graveside in Greenlawn Cemetery, with Pastor Perry Fruscella officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 PM at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard S., Jacksonville, FL 32216. Mrs. Martin was born in Cuthbert, Georgia and was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, Florida. She was a member of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, the late Coy Martin; Survivors include her daughter, Julie M. Helton; 2 sons, Charles R. Martin and Duane C. Martin; 4 grandchildren, Maggie Martin, April Stowell, Charles Martin Jr., and Amanda Messick; Several great-grandchildren. Arrangements under the direction of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home.
