Joan Louise Smith, 69 of Keystone Heights died at her home on Monday, August 10, 2009. Joan was born in Henrietta, NY on November 30, 1939 to the late Frank and Lois (Coleman) Stafford. Joan was a retired CNA and had moved to Melrose in 2001 from Largo in the Tampa Bay area. Survivors include her husband of 52 years: Rowland J. Smith, A son; Mark D. Smith (MaryLee) of Deltona, A daughter; Patricia Jones (Daniel)of Starke, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
