Mrs. Joan Mary Wolf, age 90, of Keystone Heights passed away at her home Saturday, May 2, 2015. She was born in Astoria (Queens), New York on March 26, 1925 to the late Charles and Caroline (Kubik) Carroll and attended St. William Catholic Church in Keystone Heights. Mrs. Wolf had been an Administrative Assistant for many years working at West Point Military Academy, Wall Street in New York City, Tampa General Hospital and retiring from AIG life insurance. She was also the first female president and captain of the basketball team in the high school which she attended in Walden, New York; at the age of 75 she was still active and playing soccer. Mrs. Wolf loved being with her children and being around the water; she also enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, playing mathematical games and scrabble. She is survived by her ten children; Edward Wolf (Kirk) of San Francisco, CA, Carolyn Wolf of Martinez, CA, Nancy Wolf of Mill Valley, CA; twins, Michael Goonan (Julie) of Pleasant Hill, CA and Patrick Wolf of Pacifica, CA, June Wilson (Steve) of Redwood City, CA, Linda Wolf (Brian) of Tampa; triplets, Betsy Wolf of Keystone Heights, Barbara Meyer (Dex) of Pleasant Hill, CA and Beth Wolf of Martinez, CA. Also left behind is one brother, Robert Carroll (Betty) of Edgewater; nine grandchildren, Christopher, Carolyn (Ben), Erika (Jeff), Valerie, Veronica, Amber, Shane, Casey and Tommy; and six great grandchildren, Ryder, Lola, Anika, Eliza, Scarlett and Claire. A memorial service for Mrs. Wolf will be held at her daughters home, 6437 Loch Lomond Dr., Keystone Heights, FL 32656, Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. A second memorial service will be held on Mothers Day, May 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at 15 Chico Court, Pacifica, California.
