Ms. Joann Carolyn Herl age 63, of Starke passed away Monday, October 26, 2009 at her residence. MS Herl was born on October 31, 1945 in Starke to the late Anthony and Dorothy Manning Herl, and was a lifelong area resident. She was a retired bartender, graduated from Bradford High in 1965, and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Survivors are: sister: Kathy Herl of Lulu; brothers: Ronald Birt of Starke; Anthony Herl of Albuquerque, NM; nephew: Joseph E. Birt of Starke. Memorial services will be private.
