Mrs. Joanne Marie Huffington age 85, of Starke passed away at her daughters home Friday, May 16, 2014. She was born in Normal, Illinois December 24, 1928 to the late Roland and Mable (Bailey) Rich and had moved to Starke in 1976 from Sebring. She was a Homemaker, Baker, and Gardner and was of the Methodist Faith. Her husband Bernard F. Huffington had preceded her in death in 1990. Survivors are two daughters; Christine Nichols, her husband Greg of Starke and Edith "Irene" Cheatum, her husband Carter of Orange Park; three grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Crosby Lake Cemetery with Pastor Troy Lewis officiating.
