In loving memory of Joanne Rothfus McCann, who passed away on July 6, 2024, a resident of The Village in Gainesville, FL. Joanne was born to Donald Wilson McLean and Geraldine (Rothfus) McLean on August 31, 1937, in Buffalo, NY and grew up in Needam, MA. Preceded in death by her parents, husband of 64 years James Alwyn McCann, daughter Brenda Lynn McCann (Alex Dolinski), brother in-law William (Bill) Felix and sister-in-law Margaret (Peggy) McCann. She is survived by son, Scott McCann and wife Sandy, daughter Meredith McCann, sister Linda Felix, brother-in-law John (Jack) McCann as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was a full-time mother who enjoyed nature and the outdoors, traveling (especially national parks), camping, bowling, square dancing, Jeopardy, trivia, word games, playing cards, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
