Mr. Joe Burt, age 77, of Green Cove Springs, formerly of Venice, FL, died Sunday, May 16, 2010 unexpectedly at his home.Born on September 20, 1932 in White Springs, FL, he was the son of the late Michael Joseph and Emily (Dees) Burt. Prior to his retirement he was employed as the Head Rigger for Ringling Bothers Circus.He is survived by four brothers: Jack I. Burt of Spain, James F. Burt of Republic of Marshall Islands, Raymond E. Burt of AR and Richard E. Burt of Green Cove Springs. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral Services are private.
