Mr. John Edwin "Jack" Haslam age 83, of Keystone Heights passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville. He was born in Hanover, New Hampshire on May 20, 1933 to the late John E. and Ruth (Bergeron) Haslam. Prior to retirement, Mr. Haslam worked for the United States Postal service in Hanover, New Hampshire as a courier and clerk. He has been a longtime resident of Keystone Heights and was an avid sports fan attending many sporting events in Gainesville with his wife. Mr. Haslam was also a life member of the Elks Lodge and was on a bowling league in New Hampshire prior to moving to Florida. Survivors of Mr. Haslam are his wife 22 years, Shirley (Follensbee) Haslam of Keystone Heights; two children, Cindy Koon (Joe) of Palm Bay and Edward Haslam (Vivian) of Sebastian and a step daughter, Debra Trueman (Michael) of Keystone Heights. Also left behind is one sister, Connie Carr of Hanover, New Hampshire; three grandchildren, Nicole Brown, Chantel Haslam, and Yako Haslam along with additional extended family members.
