John Wesley Emery, 59, who passed away on April 11, 2014 was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was a lifelong resident. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a member of the Baptist faith. Mr. Emery was an exceptional Appliance Technician having worked in Jacksonville, FL from 1979-1996. He was preceded in death by his father, the late Henry Wesley Emery. Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Jackie Mullis Emery; Mother, Vitalla Emery; 1 daughter, Kandy Emery Williams (Craig); 1 son, Shane Emery (Fiorella); 3 sisters, Holly Williams, Helen Stafford, and Lisa Kell; 1 brother, Joseph Emery; 3 grandchildren, Mia, Gunner, and Logan.
