Obit: John P. Jack FunderburkJohn P. Jack Funderburk, 55, a lifelong resident of the Keystone Heights area, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 in a vehicle accident while on his way to work. Jack had over 30 years of service with DuPont, and his vocation was his family, friends, and fishing. The immediate family left to mourn his passing includes his wife of 33 years, Kathy Funderburk of Keystone Heights, FL; his daughter, Kendra Booth and her husband Bill, of Navarre, FL; his son, Jason Funderburk of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; his mother, Betty Funderburk of Keystone Heights, FL; his brother, Michael Funderburk and his wife Susie of Gainesville, FL. The extended family saddened by his passing is everyone else who knew him, each of whom would say Everyone liked Jack. A memorial service to celebrate Jacks life will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, June 14th in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel.
