Mr. John Wilson Hallonquist, 69 of Keystone Heights passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the Halifax Medical Center in Daytona following an extended illness. Mr. Hallonquist was born on September 9, 1942 in Orlando to the late Albert J. and Josephine (Wilson) Hallonquist and was of the Baptist Faith. He had proudly served our country for four years in the United States Air Force. Prior to his retirement he had been an Administrative Clerk at the V.A. Hospital in Gainesville. His hobbies were reading and working with military models. He was preceded in death by his sister Dale Hallonquist. Survivors are his children Virginia Hallonquist, and Benjamine Hallonquist both of Keystone Heights. He also leaves behind his siblings; Albert Hallonquist of Stuart, JoAnne Higgins of Ocala, one granddaughter; Jasmyne Mizell and the mother of his children; Martha Mizell both of Keystone Heights. A memorial service for John will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Sat. Feb. 11, 2012 at the Riverbend Park, 9060 Indiantown Rd., Jupiter, FL 33478.
