John Mcgarry

Mr. John Christopher McGarry, 49, of Starke passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 following an extended illness. Mr. McGarry was born in New York, New York on April 28, 1962 and was of the Catholic Faith. He had received his Masters Degree in Music and was a Music Liturgist playing the organ and being a choir director for the Catholic Church in New Jersey before moving to Starke 2 years ago. His passion was not only playing music but teaching music to others. He was very handy with his hands as far as building, remodeling, and tuning pianos. His parents John and Mary McGarry had preceded him in death. Survivors are his Domestic Partner of 12 years, Christopher L. Brooks of Starke, one sister; Tara Famularo-Del Bianco and her husband Michael of Farmingdale, New York, best friends; Janet Herrick and Father Ron Cioffi, his biological mother; Adele Famularo of Babylon, New York, Christophers mother and step father; Joyce and Mario Valdez of Jacksonville, and his father and step mother; Turner L. and Sharon Brooks of Starke.
