John Jackson Moore, Jr. John Jackson Moore, Jr., 90, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013. Mr. Jackson was born in Ludowici, Georgia and was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida. He was a Veteran of The U.S. Navy having served during WWII. He had retired from Alton Box Board and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his son, the late John J. Moore, III; Survivors include his loving wife of 68 years, Margaret Paul Moore; 3 sons, Russell Moore, Ben Moore (Tammy), and Larry Moore; 3 grandchildren, Michael Moore (Laura), Christy Clayson (Doug), and Jennifer Moore; 4 great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Moore, Shelby Lynn Moore, Emleigh Clayson and Irving Clayson.
