John Morgan Ogilvie John Morgan Ogilvie, 80, passed away on September 11, 2011. He was born in Gainesville, Florida to Claude St. Clair and Ethel Henry Ogilvie. He attended schools in Jacksonville, graduated The Bolles School in 1948, The Mercersburg Academy in 1949 and California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in 1953. After graduation he received a Commission in the US Coast and Geodetic Survey.In 1955, Morgan joined the DuPont Company with positions in Wilmington, Chicago, New York City and Shreveport, Louisiana. Returning to Jacksonville in 1965, he began a career of 28 years with Diebold. During his Jacksonville tenure, Morgan was a Paul Harris member of the Rotary Club of South Jacksonville, The University Club, The Florida Yacht Club, The Deerwood Club, The Ponte Vedra Club and served as Commodore of the San Jose Yacht Club.He was predeceased by both parents and his brother, Charles (Jeanne) of Boone, North Carolina.
