POWELL: John Phillip Powell, 83, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026. He was born in Beech Grove, Indiana and was a resident of Middleburg, Florida. He is the son of the late Ralph and Catherine Powell. He was a member of the Catholic faith. He was a Printer Supervisor by trade and was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Powell; Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Betty Jean Powell; 2 daughters, Suanna Taylor (Greg Thompson), and Christina Monroe (Bruce); 2 step-daughters, Tonya Willsey (Michael Bennett), and Tammy Stivender (Chad); 1 step-son, Kevin Willsey (Connie); 3 sisters, Dorothy "Dottie" Powell; Lois Farris and Marie Bottorff (Ron); 1 sister-in-law, Barbara Powell; 8 grandchildren, Ryan, Kevin, Aaron, Cole, Cammy, Cane, Holloway, and Harrison; 1 great-grandson, Pierce Taylor.
