A Requiem Mass for John Gordon Regan, Jr., 75, will be held at 10:00A.M. Tuesday, September 19th in San Jose Catholic Church with Father Michael J. Larkin, Celebrant. A Vigil Service will be held at 6:00P.M. Monday, September 18th in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South with a family visitation following the Vigil Service. Born October 5, 1941 in Nashville, Tennessee to Mary and John Regan, Mr. Regan died Thursday, September 14, 2017 in Keystone Heights, Florida. A Marine Electrician Mr. Regan was retired as Electrical Foreman from the Jacksonville Shipyards and was a member of San Jose Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie M. Regan, brother in law, Alan V. McDonald. A beloved husband and father he is survived by his wife, Mary Alice McDonald Regan; two sons, David Michael Regan and Kevin Samuel Regan all of Jacksonville; a sister, Connie Regan-Blake and her husband Phil of Asheville, North Carolina; his wifes sister, Emma Helms and her husband WileyJack; and numerous beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by many close friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catholic Charities, a charity of your choice, or to someone in need.
