John Joseph Shea

John Joseph Shea Jr. of Jacksonville Fl. passed away Friday September 23 after a brief illness at Memorial hospital. Born 1942 in Washington DC he was the son of the late Genevieve Zdunsky Shea Lane and John Joseph Shea Sr. He was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School. After graduation he proudly served as a U.S. Marine. Following his service he settled in Jacksonville Fl. Before retirement he was most recently employed by GE inspecting nuclear plants. John was a member of Prince of Peace Parish and the Polish American Club. He was happiest riding his Harley and spending time with good friends and family. He will be deeply missed. Surviving are step sister Arlene Millar, step brother David Androsiezsko , niece Rose Marie Shea Malinoski, great nephews and cousins. A mass will be held at Prince of Peace Parish 6320 Bennett Rd in Jacksonville on October 8th at 11.00am. A light lunch will be held at the church hall from 12 noon to 2pm.
