Mr. Watts was born on May 31, 1931 in Pearson, GA to the late John and Mary (Jones) Watts. Mr. Watts spent many years in Florida before returning to Beverly, WV two years ago and had retired from Smith Truck Lines in Jacksonville where he was warehouse Supervisor. Mr. Watts had also been a member of the Masons for many years and of the Trinity Baptist Church. His survivors include his wife of 57 years: Barbara (Martin) Watts of Beverly, WV and their children: Betty Smith of St. Augustine and Tammy Watts of Miramar, FL, Jack Watts of Petersburg, WV, and Roger Watts of Honolulu, HI. He is also survived by his siblings: Georgia Redick of Brunswick, GA, Jessie McAliley of Eufaula, AL, Kathy Roesch of Rockledge, FL, and J.H. Watts of Melrose, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Memorial services for Mr. Watts will be at 10 oclock on Saturday, April 4, 2009 in the Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor James Peoples officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
