Obituary

Johnnie Raymond Crider passed away peacefully in Ocala on Sunday, April 30th. He was 85. Johnnie was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved to play the steel guitar and was in a country music band in his earlier years that traveled the country. He also had a love for old movies, old cars, and airplanes- which he had extensive knowledge about. He was born December 17th, 1937 in Gainesville, Florida and was proceededin death by his mother: Maggie Louise Crider, father: Samuel Owen Crider, and a younger brother that passed away at birth. He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Corley Prescott Crider, three daughters: Angela (Michael) Emslie, Anita (Kevin) Poe, and: Rachel (Bryan) Crider/Dick, as well as 7 grandchildren: Lee (Molly) Bryant, Kaylie (Brett Barfels) Bryant, Kayla Emslie, Hayden Crider, Alayna Poe, Harrison Crider, Hudson Crider, and a great granddaughter, Charlie Rose Barfels.
