Funeral services for Mrs. Johnnie Mae Varnadore, 85, widow of Jessie M. Varnadore, will be held at 11:30a.m. Friday, from the graveside, at Jacksonville National Cemetery, with Pastor Bruce Seger officiating. Born May 26, 1935 in Alma, Georgia to Alma and John Waters, Mrs. Varnadore died Monday, August 10, 2020 in a local hospital. She was retired from the Insurance Industry after many years of service and was a member of San Souci Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah A. Varnadore; two sons, Ronnie J. (Evelyn) Varnadore and Thomas M. (Laura) Varnadore all of Jacksonville; a brother, Charles C. (Cindy) Waters of Alma, Georgia; five grandchildren, Kyle Varnadore, Dillon Varnadore, Luke Varnadore, Rachel Varnadore (Robert) Streeter and Michelle Varnadore (Brian) Jahant; and two great-grandchildren, Madison Jahant and Ella Grace Jahant.
