Johnny Brown

Mr. Johnny Lee Brown, Sr. 64 of Keystone Heights passed away at his home Wednesday, August 4, 2021, following an extended illness. He was born September 9, 1956, to the late Alton and Mary (Brown) Brown. Johnny was the former owner and operator of J. B. Holling Tree Service for many years before working at Gustafson Dairy in Green Cove Springs. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed being outdoors in nature; was a very dedicated and hardworking individual. He loved helping the homeless by either making sure they were fed or giving them a place to stay, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Brown is survived by his four children Stephanie Brown of Keystone Heights, Vicky Brown and Francine Davis both of Jacksonville and Johnny Brown, Jr., of Georgia along with numerous siblings and the mother of his children Francine (Prince) Brown of Jacksonville. He was lovingly called "papa" by eleven grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, August 9, 2021, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home with funeral services beginning at 4:00 p.m. Steve Conner will be officiating.
