Mr. Jones "Joe" Franklin Wofford age 76 of Keystone Heights passed away at his home, Thursday, October 9, 2014. He was born in Summerville, Georgia August 14, 1938 to the late Thomas Waldon and Margaret "Maggie" (Jones) Wofford and had served in the United States Army. Joe was a truck driver and waste disposal supervisor with the City of Gainesville; a former mechanic and school bus driver after he retired from the University of Florida. He loved anything connected with cars (real or models); he also loved the old comedy movies and listening country music. Joe is survived by his son Thomas "Tony" Wofford of Keystone Heights and one granddaughter, Angela Juno along with many nephews, nieces, and friends. Joe was loved by all who knew him and all will mourn his loss. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 17, 2014 in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at the Keystone Heights Cemetery.
