Jose Luis Torres

Mr. Jose Luis Torres, 78 of Middleburg, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021. Mr. Torres was born June 27, 1942 in Santurce, Puerto Rico. Jose served in the United States Air Force and was a jack of all trades, enjoyed gardening and building things, and even built a pool. He lived in Middleburg for 8 years, moving from New York where he worked for Parks and Recreation in Queens for 20 years. Jose was a wonderful husband and will be greatly missed. His mother, Carmen Torres and son Joey Torres, preceded him in death. Survivors are his wife, Glady Torres of Middleburg, daughter, Anna Ramos of New York, and his two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 in the Helm-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Conner officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the start of the service.
